Smart little monkey

Miss Taylor has learned a few things from watching her big sister. She now knows how to push the chair from the table to the counter, climb onto the counter and get anything she wants. This is so an ER visit waiting to happen!

Sissie

Kayleigh loves her Sissie more than anything! She is definitely her very best friend. Sissie was one of both girls first words. They are always cuddling with her, trying to put princess jewelry on her, sneaking her treats, and chasing her around the house. Sissie is such a good dog to put up with these two girls, but I think she loves them too. Kayleigh is always stealing my camera to take pictures of her Sis, but this time she wanted me to take pictures of them together.

Sister Love

I would love to say that my girls are just the best of friends. But the sad truth is that they don't often play nicely. They fight over everything, don't like to share, sometimes hit and pull hair, and yell at each other..a lot! But every so often they will like each other. Kayleigh will give Taylor a kiss, hold her hand, get her a snack, and even play with her. I try not to push it and it has been happening a lot more lately. Today they were listening to princess music and both put on their high heels (without fighting over who gets what pair) and danced with each other! I almost got a bit teary, but grabbed the camera instead. Taylor adores her big sis and was in heaven with all of her attention. It only lasted a few minutes, then they were back at each others throats!

All the single ladies!!

Kayleigh has been wanting to see the Chipmunks movie for a while now. My mom had off work so we decided to finally go. This was Kaykay's second time to the theaters and she did amazingly well. This was Taylor's first time to the movies. Ok so I know taking a 19month old to the movies is not a terrific idea. But it was a Monday and it was a kids movie and I knew I would probably have to take her out early. But we really had nothing better to do. So she was in love with the treats and the big screen. She laughed (very loudly) throughout the previews. You know that fake loud kid laugh. It was pretty cute- doubt the quiet theater felt the same. So she made it through previews and about half hour of the movie. Then she was sick of popcorn and wanted to explore. So Tay and mommy went to Costco and got Kay and Gma after the movie. Kayleigh loved the movie and said the best part was when the girls sang "All the single ladies." I love to watch her sing and dance to that song and she actually knows a lot of the words.

D Back Fan Fest

My parents took Kaykay to fan fest again this year. Taylor was big enough to go too! They saw Baxter, but no pictures because Kayleigh "is not so sure about his claws". Kayleigh loves the Diamond Backs and loves going to the stadium. They must of had fun, because they got home and napped great for me! Thanks Papa and Gma!

GNO

Girls Night Out!! Some friends and I went out to an Exotic Art Show and also celebrated my friend Jill's bday. Dinner, drinks, friends, fully nude 70 yr old men = one fun night!
Kayleigh helped me get ready. She loves these shoes and I have no clue how she manages to walk in them. She told me when she is bigger she is wearing shoes like this every single day! As long as she is not on a street corner I guess it's ok.

3 Sick Kids!

This has been one rough week. Kayleigh complained of being "freezing cold" Wed morning and within half hour she was burning hot with a fever. Taylor had no fevers but was clearly not feeling great. Josh was snotty and achy also. I had it a bit, but thank goodness only a bit because I had to take care of the three of them! My poor Kaykay had it the worse. Middle of the night fevers and muscle aches. I don't know what I would do without Tylenol and Motrin. Oh and coffee!

Usery Park

Josh went on a little super bowl vacation to Laughlin this weekend with his friends. So the girls and I went on a vacation to Papa Mike and Gma Lisa's house. They took such good care of us and we had a blast. We went to Usery Mountain on Saturday. I have such outside girls! Both wanted to hike all by themselves with no help from Mommy. Even if Taylor feel, she would get right back up and not let us help. We played on the play ground while the big kids finished the hike.

We all went out to dinner later that night. At the restaurant Kayleigh began telling the entire table about her babies. For those of you who don't know...Kaykay is carrying twin baby girls. They always move and you have to be careful when you tickle her. Anyway she loudly tells Uncle Jared who is across the table, "Pretty soon the babies are going to come out my Vagina!" Poor Carrie chokes on her food. I am not sure how many 3 yr olds say vagina at the dinner table, but my guess is probably not many. Love my girl!
