Dancing Queen

Kayleigh had another dance recital tonight. She has a lot of fun taking her ballet/tap class. She loves recitals because there are cookies at the end!

Happy 4th of July!

Kayleigh woke up and needed her nails done! Then the girls dressed up in their cute 4th outfits, courtesy of Auntie Kristin Wallace. They spend the day at Gma and Papa Thie’s house. We really did not intend to do fireworks this year. I know, we are lame parents. But they just start so late, there are so many people, and can be such a hassle. So on the drive home we spotted some out the window. Both girls went wild! Even Taylor was screaming, “Mama, I see! I see!” So we of course got that awful guilt and pulled over in a neighborhood to watch. We had fun and the girls really liked it! There was a bit of traffic on the way home, but worth it.

Princess Tomboy

Taylor just makes me laugh. She loves cars, but also princesses. She looks adorable in her boys pjs. This morning she paired boys pjs with high heels and a crown. Love her!

Big Girl (Boy) Undies

Taylor likes to use the big girl potty just like Kaykay. I have not been trying to potty train her yet, she just likes to go sometimes. So we thought it would be fun to let her pick out some big girl undies. We were at Target and she was looking at all the underwear. Kayleigh says, “Look sister, there is Tinkerbelle or Princess!” Taylor, “No, want Cars!” Kay, “But those are boys. What about purple ones?” Taylor, “Cars! Cars!” So Miss Taylor got her Cars underwear and loves them! I must say boys undies are made way better than girls. They are thicker material and the trim is thicker so it doesn’t go right up her little crack. She looks so dang cute…

Those pink head phones were not connected to anything, but Tay had to wear them all afternoon- so dorky.

 

I had to add this pictures from later that night. I found the girls actually getting along. They were watching TV together in the bedroom at Grandma Lisa’s house.

Happy Bday Jake

We celebrated Jake Tucker’s 4th birthday today at Tempe Beach Park. It was a perfect location for the kids in this crazy hot weather.

Tutu Cute Party!

Taylors party was a hit! She loved all of her gifts. She got a lot of Cars and Toy Story things! We ate, swam, played and loved spending time with our family and friends! Thank you for everyone coming, we hope you had as much fun as we did!

I made each girl a tutu and hair clips and the boys got water guns!

  

 

Taylor was the only one who jumped out of the pool at cake time. We had to make the other kids get out, but Taylor got out yelling, “Cake!Cake!”

 

The kids patiently waited as Uncle Jared took a REAL long time getting Buzz out of the box. What do you expect from a UofA grad?

 

This is Tay’s second round of cake. She wore her mermaid pool float for the rest of the day.

Taylor is 2!

My sweet Taylor Mae turned 2 today! We just had the family over for dinner and some yummy cake that Gma Lou brought. Taylor is my sweet cuddle girl. She loves her sister and imitates her all the time. She loves purple, her baby doll, her blanket, chocolate, using the potty, her little cousins, Sissie, Cars, Toy Story, Heman, Mermaid, and is a total Mama’s girl. :) She is a bit more shy than her sister, she likes to sleep and snuggle, she is a lot like her Daddy! Taylor is almost always in a good mood, is always giggly, and gets so excited over the little things! She weighs in at 27 pounds of pure love!
