Easter at The Freemans

This was the most incredible celebration EVER! We had such a blast. The Freeman’s know how to throw an Easter Celebration! There was an Easter egg hunt. Kayleigh was so excited to have found a golden egg. There was candy and a slew of amazing prizes put together by Nerissa.

Then we enjoyed the petting zoo. Kayleigh is in complete love with animals and loved every second of this!

Kayleigh probably spent the most time on the pony ride. We were the last ones left at the party. The pony’s owner was so sweet to Kayleigh. He just kept walking her around the yard and she loved every minute of it!

My sweet Taylor loved the pony as well, but had no desire to ride the pony. She just wanted to be by Lukey in the petting zoo. It was so sweet to watch. There was a ton of baby chicks. Taylor wanted to hold them, but was too afraid to pick them up. So Luke would basically man handle them and give them to Taylor. Then when she was done, he would take it and give her the next one she pointed at.

What a wonderful way to start the Easter weekend. We love you Freeman Family!!

My dear friend Megan and Jake got married! I met Megan years ago at Muscular Dystrophy Camp. She is gorgeous, smart, fun, and one of my most favorite people! Megan, Kaitlyn, Kristin and I were lucky enough to spend one week a year having fun together! It was a beautiful wedding. I wish I would have gotten more pictures. Megan looked incredible! I couldn’t be more happy for someone so special to me!

After the twins party, we headed over the Addie’s house for some more celebrating. “Addie’s party was brought to us by the letter A and the number 2!”

It was so entertaining watching Addie open her gifts! She made the most expressive little faces and would just squeal in excitement.

Beck Twins are 1

My good friend Jana was in town for her sons’ first birthday party. We were so excited to get to spend time with them and on such a special day!

 

They were dressed adorable, but I didn’t grab the camera until lunch and cake time. They are such sweet boys. They are just beginning to take a few steps, which was so great to get to see. We love and miss you Beck Family! Happy birthday Ethan and Connor!

Nap Time

Kayleigh hasn’t been taking naps for months now. Taylor, on the other hand, loves and needs her 3 hour naps each day. Kayleigh usually will tell Taylor she is going to take a nap too, so that Taylor doesn’t get jealous I guess. But she never really takes a nap. So today I was a work for the morning, Josh was home with the girls. I get home and the house is completely quiet and clean! It was kind of freaky, like the twilight zone or something. I find Josh reading on the couch and he told me the girls were in the guest room. So I figure they are in there watching tv or playing and this is what I find….

What?? Too weird, I had to get a picture. This will surely never happen again. Josh gets an award for the day!

SD Visitors

Mark, Lukas, and Calli came into town from South Dakota for a few days. The coldest weekend we have had in a while, but we still had a good time. Luke was checking out a school here, because he is graduating in May. We would love to get more of our SD relatives to move out here!

Disney PRINCESS on Ice

Papa Mike and Gaga Lisa spoiled us with some incredible tickets once again. We were front row center! This time we even got to go with Sharon! It was my favorite Disney on Ice yet! I always get goose bumps when it starts! I just love the performance and even more, love seeing how much the girls love it!

Here is the beautiful Cinderella and her evil Step Sisters. The sister were so funny. One went right up to Kayleigh, with her thumb on her nose, fingers out, and stuck out her tongue at Kaykay! I was laughing, Kayleigh was just stunned.

 

Sharon treated the girls to some cotton candy at intermission. I am sure it was all Kayleigh’s idea!

We loved every second of it!
