Baby Shower

My wonderful friends gave me an amazing surprise baby shower while I was stuck in the hospital! Thank you so much to all of you- it was definitely the highlight of my hospital stay. A special thank you to Mother Tucker for the beautiful invites and thank you cards.

Kayleigh loves the double stroller. She loves to be pushed around the house. She will actually push it to the living room and just sit and watch tv while in the stroller. She points to the extra seat and tells us "baby Taylor seat".

The Zoo

Kayleigh had her first trip to the zoo. She loved every second! She is amazed by all the animals. She can pronounce all of their names and make their sounds. Her favorite thing was the monkies and the petting zoo.

Go D-Backs!!

Grandpa Mike and Grandma Lisa took Kayleigh to a Diamond Backs game last week. She had sooo much fun!! She only whinned once- when they were leaving.
Her Favorite part was Baxter's play area.

Potty Time!!

Kayleigh got a big girl potty last week. She absolutely loves it!! She has only squeezed out a few drops, but she loves to try. After her bath at night she sits on her potty and cries when she has to get up and put her pjs on. She dances as it plays music and cheers her on! We are so proud of our big girl!!

Taylor's Nursery

Josh did an amazing job with the nursery. It turned out better than I even imagined. We got a lot of help from his friend Joe. Kayleigh loves to go in there and play. She karate kicks the polka dots. We are still waiting on the night stand and need to bring in the glider, but it is pretty much ready to go. Of course the closet is already completely filled as well as every drawer. Our girls have enough clothes and shoes to outfit a small country. We settled on a name also! Taylor Jarecki Thie. It was on Josh's list and I loved it also. Kayleigh can say it pretty well too!

Sick little baby

Kayleigh has been fighting quite the sickness! Poor thing started feeling bad last Thursday and is still awful. Fever, cough, runny nose, and eyes crusted shut! She finds comfort in endless hours of Elmo, Dora, and Pooh. She just cuddles on our chests, coughs and whimpers! It has been a long couple of days- hopefully she will be back to KayKay soon!

Hair & Nails!

Kayleigh pointed at her toes and fingers saying "pretty" all morning until I would paint them. She wanted "orange" but settled for pink.

She has also found a new love of the "pony tail" this week. She wants her hair done everyday in "pony tails". She still loves to rip them out if in her car seat for too long- but they look adorable while they last.

What bed time??

Kayleigh was up way way past her bedtime and got a bit hyper. She loves to pretend like she is a dog with her Sissie and play in her bed. Grandma Lisa tries her hardest to get her to bed.

Baby Sister Kisses

Kayleigh gives kisses and hugs to her baby sister- when she feels like it.

She tells her "morning" and "night night" . Sometimes we think she is talking to my belly button. But at least she knows sister is in Mommy's belly now. She used to lift up her own shirt or even Daddy's shirt!
