My dear friend Megan and Jake got married! I met Megan years ago at Muscular Dystrophy Camp. She is gorgeous, smart, fun, and one of my most favorite people! Megan, Kaitlyn, Kristin and I were lucky enough to spend one week a year having fun together! It was a beautiful wedding. I wish I would have gotten more pictures. Megan looked incredible! I couldn’t be more happy for someone so special to me!

After the twins party, we headed over the Addie’s house for some more celebrating. “Addie’s party was brought to us by the letter A and the number 2!”

It was so entertaining watching Addie open her gifts! She made the most expressive little faces and would just squeal in excitement.

Beck Twins are 1

My good friend Jana was in town for her sons’ first birthday party. We were so excited to get to spend time with them and on such a special day!

 

They were dressed adorable, but I didn’t grab the camera until lunch and cake time. They are such sweet boys. They are just beginning to take a few steps, which was so great to get to see. We love and miss you Beck Family! Happy birthday Ethan and Connor!

Nap Time

Kayleigh hasn’t been taking naps for months now. Taylor, on the other hand, loves and needs her 3 hour naps each day. Kayleigh usually will tell Taylor she is going to take a nap too, so that Taylor doesn’t get jealous I guess. But she never really takes a nap. So today I was a work for the morning, Josh was home with the girls. I get home and the house is completely quiet and clean! It was kind of freaky, like the twilight zone or something. I find Josh reading on the couch and he told me the girls were in the guest room. So I figure they are in there watching tv or playing and this is what I find….

What?? Too weird, I had to get a picture. This will surely never happen again. Josh gets an award for the day!

SD Visitors

Mark, Lukas, and Calli came into town from South Dakota for a few days. The coldest weekend we have had in a while, but we still had a good time. Luke was checking out a school here, because he is graduating in May. We would love to get more of our SD relatives to move out here!

Disney PRINCESS on Ice

Papa Mike and Gaga Lisa spoiled us with some incredible tickets once again. We were front row center! This time we even got to go with Sharon! It was my favorite Disney on Ice yet! I always get goose bumps when it starts! I just love the performance and even more, love seeing how much the girls love it!

Here is the beautiful Cinderella and her evil Step Sisters. The sister were so funny. One went right up to Kayleigh, with her thumb on her nose, fingers out, and stuck out her tongue at Kaykay! I was laughing, Kayleigh was just stunned.

 

Sharon treated the girls to some cotton candy at intermission. I am sure it was all Kayleigh’s idea!

We loved every second of it!

Picture Boards

Kayleigh has been wanting to put pictures of her friends and family up in her room for quite some time now. I didn’t want to buy a ton of frames and didn’t want to just tape photos on the wall, like she suggested. So we decided to make some picture boards. Addie also just moved into her new big girl tinker bell room, so we decided to make her one too. Taylor and I love to go to “Hoppy Hoppy” (Hobby Lobby) when Kayleigh is at school. She knows exactly where the Cars ribbon is located. We had no problem finding the right fabric for Addie right away. Kayleigh’s room in butterflies and flowers, and we found the perfect fabric for her too. Last was my Taylor Mae. Her room is trees and owls, so a bit more tricky. I found a few that would work. I wanted her help deciding, but she ignored them all and kept saying, “No Mama, just the Cars fabric matches!” So I caved and let her get the Cars fabric. She absolutely loves it. Doesn’t so much match her room, but who cares because it is so her!

 

Kayleigh helped me put them together. Such a fun and easy project. We still need to print some more pictures, we just kinda put what we had up for now. Now Kayleigh loves to show off the cute photos on her cute photo board!

Saturday Fun

We spent the afternoon at the grandparents with Addie for some fun! The girls went swimming with their Papa, which they love so so much. Then I gave Addie a mani/pedi, per her request. A few good books with Papa, Tangled, dinner, and then home for bed! We are getting excited for summer!

Nurse in Training

I went to walk up the stairs this morning and this is what I find…

Kayleigh told me Taylor stumbled on the stairs and bumped her leg. Kayleigh says the only way to really heal is to rest. So she did not let Taylor move. She bought her a pillow and blanket to make her more comfortable. I knew she wasn’t really hurt because 1. there was no crying and 2. the “hurt” leg kept changing. But she kept telling Kaykay that it still hurt. Taylors absolutely loves attention from her big sis.
