Thie Family Pictures

The girls took pictures with some of their cousins today. Calli was here from South Dakota and is the same age as Taylor. Gia is the baby and is 3 1/2 months. Kayleigh was the "big girl" and I was so proud of her. We had talked for a few days prior to the shoot and I had my fingers crossed both girls would at least take a few pictures. Gia was in a great mood. Taylor and Calli were good but had no interest in sitting still for pictures when they could run around and play. Kaykay was the superstar. She sat and posed whenever we told her. She held the baby and sat with her arms around Taylor. Yes that is right...she was basically hugging Tay and smiling!! We did bribe her with gum, whatever it takes!

Family Pictures

Pictures with a 3 year and 17 month old is quite interesting! One wants to sit when the other wants to run or they don't want to touch each other or one is crying or both are crying or one has her legs open when wearing a dress but occasionally a few beautiful pictures are taken. The talented Britney Florence did our pictures again this year. The girls looked gorgeous and I can not wait to order some prints! Here are some of my favorites...

Two Princesses!

Kayleigh is obsessed with dressing up! It is rare that we are at home and she is not wearing a princess gown. She wakes up in the morning and goes directly to her dress up wardrobe. Taylor has never really noticed. Well I got home from work and found Princess Taylor! Gma Lisa dressed her up and of course she loved it. She will now go grab a gown, bring it over to Josh or me and want us to dress her up. It is so stinkin' cute. Kayleigh has so many outfits she doesn't even mind sharing them with sister. Now we have not one, but two little princesses!!

Day after Thanksgiving Parade

Carrie invited us to a light parade on Mill Ave. The weather was perfect and we had a blast. My girls love love Christmas lights, so this was perfect. We bought a cooler full of turkey sandwiches and lawn chairs and we were set. I think this will definitely have to become a tradition.
Taylor with some cotton candy (we call it "crack for kids")

Kayleighs loves Sharon. They read some Christmas stories together waiting for the parade to start.

Great Gma Gerre and Addie

I am proud to say the mess Kayleigh made of her new leggings and boots was completely erased by my amazing laundering skills. I impressed myself because they look new again!

...Bert & Ernie!!

Kaykay said she loved Bert and Ernie, but her very favorite part was The Grinch!

Thanksgiving

The Thie's had yet another wonderful Thanksgiving. We spent the day a Jared and Carrie's house. Carrie's family, my family, Gma Gerre, Aunt Jean and Rick, and Josh's family were all there together. Sharon and Tom brought a huge bouncy, which the girls had a blast with. I went in the bouncy to share in the fun and Kaykay quickly threw me out. She only let Uncle Michael in to play. We had an oven turkey, deep fried turkey, ham, polish sausage, and every side you can think of. We all rolled out of there. The weather was nice and warm and we ate at a beautifully decorated table outside. I am most thankful for my family!

The first one to drop after the turkey was Daddy (big surprise!)

Kayleigh has learned to use the camera...

Kayleigh has learned how to use my camera! I found about 30 pictures of her tv shows, 50 pictures of her dog Sissie, random ones throughout the house, pictures of pictures of Baby Gia from her blog, and her toys. I erased most of them, but her were some that I liked...

Play Room Wall #2

Wall #2 of the play room is done!! We love it more than words! Every time we walk in there we ooh and aah. The girls are completely in love. It is a little girl's dream room for sure. Our artist Stacie is truly amazing. Kaykay loves her and loves to hang out with her. She sits and watches her paint, talks her ear off, and asks her tons of questions. I try to get Kayleigh downstairs out of her hair, but after about 5 minutes... "I think I better go check on Stacie again." We love visitors, so come on over and check it out!

Lunch with Addie

We love to go over to Addie's house to play with her and Kristin. We walk to the park, play and eat lunch together. Addie is still deciding if she likes food or not. Kayleigh thought she could help Kristin feed Addie. She first tried to hold the spoon and actually did ok. Then she tried to make Addie laugh and open her mouth by making funny noises.
Kaykay took this picture of Addison
Addie filled up her tummy so well she unloaded right after..on Kristin's lap :)
