We went to the Chandler Library with Auntie Carrie & Addie. It was Kaykays first time to the library (I know..bad mom) and she was really excited! It is a beautiful library and so much fun for kids. There were books, puppets, songs, and bubbles. The girls had a good time!

Ostrich Festival
We took the girls to the Ostrich Festival for the first time this year. Food, ostrich races, overpriced rides, amazing weather, family, and friends...what more could you ask for? I think this will definitely become a yearly thing we do.
Today was also our 6 yr anniversary!

Play Room Wall #3
The 3rd wall of our amazing playroom is done! It was actually done awhile ago, but I was a little behind with the camera. Stacie of course did an incredible job and we all are in total love with it. Kayleigh is so proud! Every time anyone comes into the house she makes them come look at her playroom (even the cox guy). I knew I was going to put the shelving unit on the wall, so I really didn't want Stacie to paint something, because I knew I would not want to cover it. She insisted every area had to be painted in case I moved furniture around one day. She of course is right, but I still have a really hard time covering any of her amazing work. We can luckily kind of see through the shelves to the artwork behind. The forth wall is started and looks great also (sorry no sneak peeks until it is done- you have to come over to see!)

Just like Kaykay!
Taylor has to do everything big sister does! She loves to sit on the big girl potty just like Kaykay. She says "potty, potty", sits on there, puts toilet paper in, then claps "yeah!" She never actually potties, but we are still proud of her. I love this picture. I took it with my phone and I just thought she looked so sweet with that big round belly!

Peek-a-boo!
Both girls love mommy's closet! I find them in there all of the time. They try on my clothes, put on my bras, put on my shoes, and go through my jewelry. Daddy's closet they leave alone! If I can't find Taylor- I look in my closet. This is usually what I see...

Kayleigh's Dance Recital
Kayleigh had her big dance debut! She did excellent and we are so proud of her. She did 3 dances- jazz, tap, and ballet. After each dance she ran over to me and gave me a big hug and kiss. She really concentrated and watched the teacher. We signed up for more dance classes. Taylor loved to watch Kaykay and danced like a ballerina in the audience admiring her big sis.

Sissie
Kayleigh loves her Sissie more than anything! She is definitely her very best friend. Sissie was one of both girls first words. They are always cuddling with her, trying to put princess jewelry on her, sneaking her treats, and chasing her around the house. Sissie is such a good dog to put up with these two girls, but I think she loves them too. Kayleigh is always stealing my camera to take pictures of her Sis, but this time she wanted me to take pictures of them together.

Sister Love
I would love to say that my girls are just the best of friends. But the sad truth is that they don't often play nicely. They fight over everything, don't like to share, sometimes hit and pull hair, and yell at each other..a lot! But every so often they will like each other. Kayleigh will give Taylor a kiss, hold her hand, get her a snack, and even play with her. I try not to push it and it has been happening a lot more lately. Today they were listening to princess music and both put on their high heels (without fighting over who gets what pair) and danced with each other! I almost got a bit teary, but grabbed the camera instead. Taylor adores her big sis and was in heaven with all of her attention. It only lasted a few minutes, then they were back at each others throats!

All the single ladies!!
Kayleigh has been wanting to see the Chipmunks movie for a while now. My mom had off work so we decided to finally go. This was Kaykay's second time to the theaters and she did amazingly well. This was Taylor's first time to the movies. Ok so I know taking a 19month old to the movies is not a terrific idea. But it was a Monday and it was a kids movie and I knew I would probably have to take her out early. But we really had nothing better to do. So she was in love with the treats and the big screen. She laughed (very loudly) throughout the previews. You know that fake loud kid laugh. It was pretty cute- doubt the quiet theater felt the same. So she made it through previews and about half hour of the movie. Then she was sick of popcorn and wanted to explore. So Tay and mommy went to Costco and got Kay and Gma after the movie. Kayleigh loved the movie and said the best part was when the girls sang "All the single ladies." I love to watch her sing and dance to that song and she actually knows a lot of the words.
