I feel like all we have been doing is celebrating birthdays! Tonight Gma Mona made a cake to celebrate Daddy and Gma Lisa’s birthday. The girls were in a great mood after their baths and were ready for some cake!

The girls went bowling for the first time! Gia’s first birthday party was at the bowling alley. The first few times the girls went without the ramp and it was a bit painful to watch. The ball barely made it to the pins. Then came the ramp and the strikes!! Kayleigh was cracking me up with how dramatic (like always) she was, “Oh I can’t even look!”
For some silly reason Gia did not like when everyone sang to her. I think she had fun the rest of the time though!

Today was Daddy’s birthday and Gia’s first birthday! We met everyone out for dinner.

Josh had to go into work after dinner, so I drove home with the girls. We were almost home when Taylor started to projectile vomit all over. I guess her dinner of peanuts, lemonade, and chocolate cupcakes didn’t sit well with her. So we got in the bath where the puking continued. I think she got it all out before bed fortunately. Poor girl. The good part was that it all just smelled like chocolate and not puke. Kayleigh was worried about her, “Mama, why is this happening to my sister? Will she do this forever now?”

Kayleigh had her big girl 4 year old party today! She loved every minute of it. Thank you to all of our wonderful friends and family for making the day extra special!

Kayleigh was so so excited to see Sydney, one of her BFFs. We don’t get to play with her often enough because we basically live on opposite ends of the state. I don’t know if Kaykay was more excited about the party or getting to play with Sydney.
Kayleigh has been talking about pillow pets for months now. She wanted this dog more than anything and was in love with it from the first moment she held it!

Happy birthday my beautiful girl!
Kayleigh turned 4 today! We had a jammed packed fun day. She began the day by getting dressed head to toe in her favorite color pink! Thanks to the Irvin girls for this cute get up. She got to wear a crown at school, that she ended up wearing the whole day. It was our snack day at school. We bought apples, pretzels, and cupcakes with pink frosting!
Kayleigh got to pick out the lunch location. Like we even need to ask her favorite place anymore. This girl is in love with Chipotle!
We then dropped off Daddy and Taylor at home and had a big girl afternoon. We first went to a movie. Kayleigh picked Cats and Dogs. We had a private showing! We had the theater all to ourselves and she still hushed me if I asked her if she wanted popcorn or something to drink,
“Mom! It is inappropriate to talk in movies! Please be quiet.”
“We are the only ones in here!”
“It doesn’t matter, those are the rules!”
When the movie was over, we were off to get our nails done. This was a first for Kayleigh and she quite enjoyed it! I do her nails all the time, but I am clearly no professional!
It was back home for the family party at our house. Both sets of grandparents, Maggie, Michael, April, Gia, Jared, Carrie, Addie, and Gma Lou all came over. We had pizza and lasagna, but who cares because the dessert was the good part! Nothing Bundt Cakes is seriously the most amazing cake I have ever had! I am so glad there is not one near us, because it would be way too tempting. We played and opened gifts! The four girls had fun.
Kayleigh was really making me laugh opening her presents. She is just SO dramatic. She would hug the gifts and cards, “I have always wanted this. I love this! Thank you everyone! I love you all!” As she is kisses her gifts.
I love my girl so much. She is sweet and sassy and I wouldn’t change her one bit!!!
Everyday we pick up Kayleigh from school and everyday she tells us nothing! I ask her what she learned, if she had fun, if she played. The only thing I can sometimes get an answer to is what snack she had. She likes to tell people that she gets “too embarrassed” to talk about school. I plan on volunteering in her classroom, but they are still working on the policy for volunteers. After class one day we all went out to lunch. Kayleigh says, “Daddy, I am wearing a orange shirt today. I learned that in school.” Kayleigh already knows her colors, but Josh still tells her good job. She then says, “You spell orange, o-r-a-n-g-e! I learned that too.” Josh, “Wow. Awesome job babe.” So I know she is learning things and having fun, even if she is too embarrassed to talk about it!
