Carter is 7!

Happy Birthday Carter! I can not believe he is already 7! I remember his baby shower. The celebration was at Makutu’s Island! I was a bit nervous at first. Kayleigh was out of sight in no time. I knew she could not leave the place, but I just pictured her at the top of the play thing, stuck, crying, not being able to get down. Josh and I looked for a good 10 minutes for her. Finally I looked up and saw her like 30 feet above me yelling “mom!” OMG, baby are you OK?? “This is awesome! I love this place!!!” Guess she is older than I think and is having a blast! Taylor hung out with GG in the littler kid area and loved looking at the fish.

A Devilish Homecoming

We joined the Freemans at ASU this morning to enjoy the Homecoming parade. This was our first year going, but it will have to become an annual event. We set up some chairs, had some snacks, saw Sparky, ran after candy, and played with friends.

 

Kayleigh was so exhausted she feel asleep for a few minutes before we had to get ready for our next party!

K Prep Halloween

I volunteered at Kayleigh’s school today. Today was their Halloween party. We decorated the classroom and all the kids wore their costumes. We went trick or treating to different classrooms then came back to our party. We had different fun centers set up. I helped with the witches hands (gloves filled with candy corn and popcorn). We also had owl smores, candy, reading, ping pong ghost toss, and pumpkin decorating. I love Kayleigh’s class- the teachers, kids, and other parents are all great! For those who know Kaykay, you know she is a little spitfire that always has an opinion and something to say. I get to see a different side of her at school. She is very well behaved, listens to everything, loves to learn, and does not talk out of turn. I am so proud of her!

My Little Baker

Gma Lou sent us home with some Halloween cupcakes and today was the day we made them. Kayleigh loves to bake!! She is very patient and follows all the directions very well. She even knows not to eat the batter, because it has germs from the eggs! I know- I am no fun! I did let her sneak some frosting!

Happy Birthday Luke!

Tonight we headed out to Schnepf Farms to celebrate Luke’s 3rd birthday. We had a private bonfire with hotdogs, chili, and smores. We picked out pumpkins and played with good friends.

I am always so tempted to take sweet Bryce home with me. Love this boy!

Taylor was very serious about her pumpkin organization. She worked really hard on this pumpkin line. When some little girls came and grab one she was a bit ticked off, but was able to fix the hole.

AZ State Fair

Gma Mona planned our annual trip to the AZ State Fair. Kayleigh could go on rides all day long!

We first went to the petting zoo. Taylor did not love how “friendly” (aka aggressive) the animals were. But Kay and Addie didn’t mind.

I let the girls go on this roller coaster all by themselves! Taylor said she had fun but when I asked if she wanted to go on more she said “No thanks!”

Kayleigh was trying to talk Daddy into going on even more rides! She could have stayed there all night!

Poor Little Sister

Taylor loves her big sister so much and always tries to be just like her. Both girls love my bed, so I usually let them take their afternoon naps there. Well, Kayleigh decides to tell Taylor that it is super cool to sleep on the floor. Of course little Taylor does what her sister says is cool. Kay lasted about 5 minutes on the floor, but poor Taylor took her whole nap on the floor.

When I told Kaykay to tell sister to go back in bed she replied, “Why? I like having the whole bed to myself!”
