Our Fun Day

We had such a fun day! Josh had off work. It has been quite a while since we all spent the day and dinner together. This morning we went to the Disney Store to let Kayleigh pick out a outfit for her bday party. She walked around the store saying "I'm so excited!" Then for dinner we went to a hotdog place that Kayleigh and Josh both love. Kayleigh kept saying, "This is a good supper."Taylor was introduced to the pacifier this week. I am honestly not a big fan of the paci, but she seems to really like it. We figured since I went back to work this week and my boobs went with, whoever watched her would appreciate the paci. You may notice the wings in the picture. Well now in addition to Ernie and Bert, Kayleigh must also now wear her Tinkerbell outfit. Then it was bath and off to bed. I tried to get Kaykay playing with Taylor, but she is all of the sudden camera shy or more likely just being stubborn. She will point out all of Taylor's body parts and tickles her belly with kisses. Such sweet girls!

Busy Week

The girls had a very busy week. Three of their boy cousins were here from SD. Lukas, Cody, and Dylan were all here for the week. Then my Aunt Lorna and Uncle Roger were here from WI also. We were gone every day playing with different people. Maggie and Mike took Kayleigh to the water park one morning and she went on the big slide all by her self. She did a lot of swimming. We also went to Uncle Jared's & Auntie Carrie's house for dinner a few times. It was a very fun and exhausting week!

Kayleigh's Birthday Party

Kayleigh would like to invite everyone to her Tinkerbell birthday party. She is very excited to be turning two! She tells everyone she is having a Tinkerbell party when she is two at Emme's (Jared & Carrie's dog) house. They have a awesome new house with a great backyard and pool. We plan on renting one of those water blow up slides, so bring your suits! Hope to see everyone there!

Bottle Time

Taylor had her very first bottle today! I have to go back to work on Sunday, so we figured we better get her used to something new. At first she was not so happy. I think once she realized her same milk was in it she was a little better. Her eyes were wide open the whole time like "what the heck is this?"

Time for Bed

Kayleigh left her best buddies at Papa's house one night and was VERY sad. Last night she had them back and would not let them go for a minute. They even sat right on the counter next to her during bath time.
Kaykay thought she was pretty cool pretending to be daddy. She put on his socks (that he wore that day to work- yuck) and even found his tooth brush. The other day she said out of no where, "Oh my god, are you kidding me?" Although I was impressed by the string of words I am not so sure "oh my god" is appropriate for a 23 month old.
Will you just take a look at that belly!! No one is going hungry in this family.

Our Princesses

We took Taylor to her 1 month Dr visit (yes already 1 month!) last week. She is growing!! On her first visit she was 25th percentile, then her two week visit 50th percentile (good jump), then at this visit she was 75th percentile!!! She weighed 10lbs! I think most is in her cheeks. She is such a sweet good baby!



Kayleigh is a great big sister. It has been some adjusting, but she is really doing good. She is so sweet to her baby sister. She is so gentle with her and talks to her is a high pitched sweet little voice. She loves Ernie and being a princess. Her favorite movies are Lady and The Tramp and Peter Pan. Her birthday is next month and she is telling everyone about her Tinker Bell party.

Kiara Jolie Thie

We had yet another beautiful niece born today! Kiara Jolie Thie was born July 16 at around 4pm. She weighed 6 lbs 14 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. She was welcomed by Mommy Kari, Daddy Joe (Josh's brother), and three big brothers Tanner, Cody, and Dylan. Taylor and Kayleigh are so thrilled and can not wait to play with their new cousins.

I love you too!

Kayleigh spends a lot of time ignoring her new sister, but each day she is talking to her more and more. Tonight we were out shopping and I was wearing Taylor in a baby carrier sling. I really don't think Kayleigh even realized she was there. I was kneeling down looking at the bottom shelf, just at Kayleigh's level. Kayleigh spotted her and surprised said, "Oh Taylor!" Then leaned in, kissed her on the mouth, and told her "I love you too." I love my girls!
