Disney on Ice

My parents bought us tickets for Disney on Ice again this year! This year Taylor was old enough to come too! We went to the preshow that showcased the princess gowns and Cinderella and Princess Tiana were there.

At the end fairy dust (confetti) fell on all of us. The girls thought it was really fun...

Go Cards and Young Love

We had some friends and family over today for the Cardinal game. Since our Packers are out, my mom and Josh insisted that we all wear a Cardinal shirt.

Our good friend Mike came over with his kids, Mikey and Gianna. Kayleigh and Mikey loved playing with each other. He is an older man at 5 yrs, but he was so nice to Kayleigh. They told me they are "getting married for real." So cute...

Picnic in the Park

We spent Kristin's last day as Addie's nanny with them today. We walked to the park for a picnic. Being super mom- I forgot wipes. Of course both my girls needed to poop, with no wipes and no close bathroom we had to improvise. We did enjoy fruit, sandwiches, grass, trees, playground, and friends!

We finished the day with a Kaykay and Auntie Kristin favorite...Smores!

Zoo Lights

We love to go to the zoo throughout the year, but zoo lights is always a special treat. This year was extra fun with Gma Gerre and Auntie Jill in town.

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Great Gma Gerre. Tonight Gma Gerre and Auntie Jill flew in from WI just to see us! Oh and maybe the Packer game too! We celebrated Gma's birthday and got to visit over a few glasses of wine. We love you Gma!

BFF

Taylor and Addie are so sweet together. Today we went to the park. I forgot my double stroller. I put Taylor in first and we were just going to hold Addie, but Taylor put her arms out like "I wanna hold her." So they cuddled up all the way to the park. It was so cute!

Happy New Year's Eve!

The New Year's Eve party was at Gma Mona & Papa Joe's house. Everyone was there and ready to party (until about 8pm that is). New Year's Eve and Day were my holidays to work this year, so I just stopped by for a bit after work for goodnight tucks. The girls had a sleepover and had lots of fun!

Princess Nails

One of Kayleigh's favorite Christmas gifts was princess nails! They were so cute, she loved them, and they lasted over an hour!

Merry Christmas!

I have a new found love for Christmas! For a few years Christmas was beginning to be about just presents, lists, budgets...Now experiencing Christmas with my children is something amazing. They get so excited. We drive around or go for walks almost every night to look at Christmas lights. Their eyes light up when they see Santa and we love singing holiday songs. We spend less time worrying about gifts and just enjoy being with everyone.
We woke up Christmas morning to delicious sticky buns from our wonderful friends The Freemans...

We waisted no time getting to the presents...

Kaykay wanted nothing but ballerina slippers. She squealed when she opened them. She immediately changed into her ballerina outfit...

Santa brought Taylor a Princess Vanity that is also a keyboard...

We then went over to Gpa Joe and Gma Mona's house for more presents, food, and best of all family.
